Home cleaning appliances brand building a supply chain from scratch — sourcing from China, shipping to the Netherlands, and selling across EU markets.
SAMAKO was launching a line of home cleaning appliances into the European market, sourcing products from manufacturers in China and distributing through the Netherlands. They had the product and the market ambition — but no supply chain infrastructure to support it.
There was no supplier management process, no quality control system, no freight coordination framework, and no operational visibility into where products were in the pipeline. Every order was a manual, ad-hoc effort. Supplier communications were scattered, quality issues were discovered only after goods arrived, and there was no centralized system tracking orders, shipments, or inventory.
SAMAKO needed a full supply chain operation built from scratch — not a consultant to advise them on what to build, but a team to actually build and run it.
Took over full management of Chinese suppliers — from initial PO placement and price negotiation to production tracking and payment coordination. Became the primary point of contact for all supplier communications, managing relationships across WeChat and email to ensure consistent production schedules and clear expectations.
Implemented a structured QC process with V-Trust as the third-party inspection partner. Coordinated pre-shipment inspections, established defect tolerance standards, and built a closed-loop tracking system so quality issues were caught before goods left the factory — not after they arrived in the Netherlands.
Managed all international freight from China to the Netherlands, coordinating both air and sea shipments. Handled carrier selection, booking, customs documentation, and shipment tracking. Built contingency protocols for delays and ensured inventory arrived on schedule to support sales commitments.
Designed and implemented a ClickUp-based operational control system that unified all supply chain activity into one platform. Purchase order tracking, supplier task management, shipment timelines, QC status, and inventory positions — all visible in a single workspace with automated status updates and deadline tracking.
Built centralized inventory tracking across warehouse locations, providing real-time visibility into stock levels, incoming shipments, and pipeline inventory. Replaced guesswork with data, enabling informed decisions on reorder timing and quantity.
If you're launching a product and need operational infrastructure — not just advice — let's talk about how we can build it for you.
